Age Limit

Born not earlier than 2 January 1998 and not later than 1 January 2006
Age Relaxation
SC/ST: 5 years
OBC: 3 years
PwBD: 10 years
For widows/divorced/separated women (not remarried):
General/EWS: Up to 35 years
OBC: Up to 38 years
SC/ST: Up to 40 years
For applicants under NAPS: Maximum age cannot exceed 34 years as on 1 January 2026.

Vacancies are categorized under SC, ST, OBC, EWS, and UR.
Reservation is also available for PwBD under VI, HI, OH, and ID categories.
Educational Qualification
Graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized University/College/Institute
Qualification result must be declared on or before 31 December 2025
For NATS registered candidates:
Graduation passing date should not be more than four years preceding 1 January 2026.
Language Proficiency
Candidates must be proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding the local language of the State/UT applied for.
Important Restrictions
Candidates who previously underwent apprenticeship in PNB or any organization are not eligible.
Candidates currently undergoing apprenticeship training are not eligible.
Candidates having one year or more job/training experience after graduation are not eligible.
Candidates terminated earlier from apprenticeship training due to misconduct are not eligible.
Monthly Stipend

Stipend will be paid monthly after adjusting unauthorized absence.
No additional allowances or benefits are admissible.

Selection Process
The selection consists of four stages:
1. Online Written Test

2. Document Verification
Qualified candidates will be called for document verification in their respective State/UT.
Candidates must appear at their own expense with original and self-attested copies of required documents.
3. Test of Local Language
Candidates must be proficient in the local language of the State applied.
Candidates producing 10th/12th mark sheet proving local language study are exempted.
Others must qualify the language test.
Failure will result in non-engagement.
4. Medical Examination
Candidates must be declared medically fit as per bank standards.
Medical fitness certificate must be issued by a registered MBBS doctor at candidate’s expense.

If graduation passed on/after 1 January 2022, also register on NATS Portal (https://nats.education.gov.in) as “Student”
